Our models are of Somali and Malian descent. Each brought their own hijabs and outfits for styling. These were fellow students I met through the African Student Association and are all creatives. Making jewelry, clothing, writing and more. This project was to showcase the student populations and cultures that are here in Iowa unbeknownst to many.
